Abstract

This work describes the experience of the Science Fair Project at Centro Universitário FMABC, aimed at youth and adult education (EJA). The main objective of the initiative was to make Science education more accessible and engaging through practical and interactive activities. Over three days of activities, students participated in playful experiments exploring biological, chemical, and physical concepts, fostering curiosity and active learning. Satisfaction surveys were applied to assess the project's impact, and the results indicated a high level of engagement and interest among participants. A comparative analysis with other scientific extension projects reinforces the relevance of dynamic methodologies in education, promoting integration between the university and the community. Thus, the Science Fair Project proved to be an effective tool for knowledge dissemination and for encouraging scientific literacy in the EJA context.
