A Proposal for Extensionist Action Using Astronomy Content

Abstract

This proposal aims to awaken the interest of Elementary School II and High School students in Natural Sciences through activities involving equipment such as telescopes and a planetarium, using Astronomy as a motivating theme. To measure the success of this initiative, the same questionnaire was administered before and after the activities. The responses allowed for a simplified analysis to assess the effectiveness of the activities in achieving the proposed objective. A total of 1,650 students participated, distributed across classes in eight state schools.
